Galaxy4Games team had the great honor of collaborating with Artek Futura to develop their innovative educational multiplier game, Zongtopia. After only 5 months of our creative collaboration, innovative decisions, and hard work of all the parts, Zongtopia is now in soft launch (Download on Google Play)—a really exciting and crucial phase when the players can finally get their first hands-on experience.
Needless to say, that it’s always a brilliant moment for us to talk with our clients when a project reaches this stage, seeing how the vision comes to life and hearing their thoughts on the journey. Today, we’re excited to sit down with Mónica (Monár) Andrade Flore Verdad from Artek Futura Marketing to discuss the development process, her vision for Zongtopia, and what’s next for the game. Let’s dive in!
- Please, tell about yourself. What do you do? What is your passion?

Her recent work focuses on creative technology projects, including Zongtopia, an educational video game for musicians that blends gamification and musical skill development, alongside the creation of immersive brand experiences using new technologies.
- Tell us about your product. What is it about? How did the idea come up? What problem it solves and whom it inspires?
Zongtopia is an educational gaming platform designed to empower musicians by combining gamification, interactive learning, and social features. The game allows players to build and customize their own music studio, learn music theory and production through fun quizzes and mini-games, and connect with a creative community of fellow musicians.
The idea for Zongtopia was born from a passion for music and the desire to make learning music fun and accessible to everyone. We wanted to solve the challenge many independent musicians face: not having affordable and interactive tools to improve their skills and build connections within the industry.
This challenge is one we’ve experienced firsthand, as musicians ourselves. We know how intimidating it can be to step into a studio without fully understanding the technical language or to navigate the learning process alone. Zongtopia aims to bridge that gap by offering an engaging platform where aspiring musicians can develop their talent, feel more confident, and connect with a supportive community.
- What challenges were you facing and what motivated you to solve them?
One of the main challenges was ensuring that the learning process felt natural and engaging, rather than overwhelming. Musicians often struggle with technical knowledge, feeling intimidated by terms and studio equipment. We wanted to create a space where users could gain confidence and master this “language” of music production in a fun and interactive way.
Another challenge was balancing the educational aspect with entertainment. Our motivation came from seeing how gamification can keep users motivated while they learn. We knew that if we combined solid educational content with fun game mechanics, we could make something truly impactful.
- Why did you choose us for the development of your game “Zongtopia”?
We chose Galaxy Games because of your expertise in game development and your commitment to delivering high-quality work in record time. Your experience with interactive design and gaming mechanics aligned perfectly with our vision for Zongtopia. Additionally, your collaborative approach and openness to feedback have made the entire process feel smooth and exciting. We felt that your team understood not just the technical requirements but also the emotional core of the project, which was key to bringing Zongtopia to life.
- How have you felt during the game development process? What have been your favorite moments?
The development process has been incredibly rewarding. One of our favorite moments was seeing the first playable build of the game, it was amazing to see the ideas that had lived in our minds finally come to life on the screen! Another highlight has been working with such a talented and dedicated team that is always open to collaboration and new ideas.
We’ve also enjoyed testing the mini-games and seeing how much fun they add to the learning process. Each milestone, from completing new features to fixing bugs together, has felt like a collective achievement.
- What have you learnt from working with us?
We’ve learned the importance of maintaining clear communication and flexibility throughout the development process. Your team has shown us how strategic iteration and thorough testing can significantly enhance the final product. We’ve also gained a deeper understanding of the development timeline and how each stage, from design to implementation, plays a vital role in creating a cohesive experience.
- Now what are your further plans with the game?
Our next step is to launch the MVP and gather feedback from beta testers to further refine the game. After the initial release, we plan to roll out additional features such as more mini-games, studio task levels, enhanced social functions, and the integration of blockchain-based rewards to add even more value for our users.
We’re also preparing a marketing campaign to expand our reach and grow the Zongtopia community globally. Ultimately, we envision Zongtopia becoming a go-to platform for musicians who want to level up their skills, connect with others, and enjoy a unique, creative experience.
