Project
Galaxy4Games worked on art content for the mech.mixie.ai battle game, producing separate components for the robot generator. The generator allowed robots to be entirely procedurally generated from various parts such as bodies, wheelbases, weapons, etc.
The Generator could mint NFT robots on demand and give an animated sequence of frames, making NFTs feel alive.
Galaxy4Games
Galaxy4Games was responsible for prompt content delivery and production due to tough deadlines before the game’s release and NFT sale. The development team’s idea was to build a set of NFTs with different legs, bodies, equipment, etc., with animations for NFTs.
The 3D art team has to be skilled and understand the essence of 3D, hierarchy, modular solutions, and blocking to avoid overlaps and artifacts with animation rendering. Such a skill is rare and stands between artist and technical artist specializations.
The essential solution is to define blocks and principal components. To do so, we allocated specialists with deep 3D art understanding and technical art skills. Starting from small guidance and blocking saved much time during the development process and helped scale the team without any friction. This made the implementation process smooth and efficient.
